Babies change so quickly.  The first year is a series of milestones, one leading into the next.  Capture those remarkable moments forever.

The Baby Year includes the 3 following portrait sessions.

Connections

(3 to 4 months old)

Your baby has developed a relationship and a connection to you.  Smiles, gurgles, and a precious bond.  Your baby can be bare, or dressed in a diaper cover, yours or ours.

Interactions

(6 to 9 months)

Once your baby can sit the world becomes a whole different place.  Celebrate baby’s newfound independence.   Baby can be dressed in a diaper cover, overalls, bloomers, tulle skirts, or a simple solid-colored outfit.

Baby should be able to sit unassisted for this session.

Explorer

(1 year)

After baby’s first step the world is theirs.  Capture their distinct personality.  Baby can be dressed in overalls, tulle dresses, slip dresses, or solid colored outfits.

Baby should be able to stand or walk for this session.

Our package also includes 5×7 prints (1 from each session) in a folio, and 10% off the studio price list.

Images must be ordered within 30 days of session to receive The Baby Year pricing.

All three sessions must be of the same child. Parents should be dressed in long sleeved black shirts, black pants or jeans.  Parent act as a prop holding baby.  Some clothing is available from the studio. One session may be a family session.  I recommend the Connections session (3 to 4 months old), mom’s tend to look less tired at that point.

Program expires when the child turns 15 months.

Additional Baby Year Sessions

Newborn

(up to 6 weeks)

How else will you remember those tiny fingers and toes?  Your baby can be bare, or dressed in a diaper cover, yours or ours, baby outfits tend to look bunchy and uncomfortable at this stage, if you bring an outfit I would lean toward a well fitting sleeper.  This session may be added to your package at no additional charge.  Call to book as soon as you bring baby home.

Maternity

$49 with Baby Year Purchase

(25 to 35 weeks)

Capture the anticipation and beauty of this unique time in you life and the life of your family.  Clothing options include your cutest maternity outfit, as well as our classic fabric wraps.

Suggestions

Special blankets, outfits, or toys can make your child’s portrait even more special.

Bare feet are cute and comfortable.

Sessions should be scheduled at whatever time is best for baby.  Most children are happiest after a nap and meal.  You may arrive early for your appointment to feed, just let us know so that we may accommodate you.
