Wedding season countdown
2011 is coming to a close, and as Christmas comes, then New Year, so does the season for planning your wedding. A new year means a new price list, which means you have until January 1 to book at the 2011 rates. If you have already met with me and decided to book you can go to client access and approve your package choice, sign your contract, and make your retainer payment. That retainer is the only way to secure your date.

Expectations!
I am now 38 weeks pregnant and I think this may have been the longest year ever. I am wrapping up the last few jobs and getting ready to take leave (sort of). I still have to fit in meetings and a bridal show, and will end up processing a few orders, but I won’t be taking any sessions until February, or shooting any weddings until March. Then the idea is to dive back into life. I can’t wait to introduce you to my little bundle. Until then I can’t promise much in the way of blogging, but I am sure you can live without me for a while.

Happy November! Have a discount!
Why am I so happy it’s November? Well I can now say I am having a baby next month. It’s really exciting, and overwhelming as I wrap up the last weddings of the year and prepare to bring a new person home. I plan on taking time off after baby girl arrives and in order to do that I am cramming November with some good stuff.
Good thing #1: in order to encourage those of you thinking about booking with me to meet this month instead of waiting until December or January I am offering a reduced wedding retainer. The standard retainer is $1,000, but for the month of November you can get your date booked for $750. Email or call to make your consultation appointment or if we’ve met before to get that contract signed.
