As many of you know, my beautiful Alice was born in December and I am just now getting back to my regular work schedule. I missed you all, but have so enjoyed my early weeks with baby. To celebrate my return and the early appearance of spring (in spite of the groundhog), I am offering a big ol’ portrait sale. Now through February 26, 2012 Family Location portrait sessions are 50% off. That’s $49.50 for a session in Fresno or Clovis. Visit my online store to purchase your session.
Sales tax will be added to all purchases. Sessions must be completed by 12/1/2012. Availability on Saturdays may be limited, but Sundays and weekdays and evenings are available based on the time of year (sunset times). Sessions not completed by that time will convert to a credit toward sessions of other products. Please visit the about page on my storefront for the portrait policy. When the session is booked a copy of the policy will be emailed to you for digital signing. Session fee covers session costs, prints and other products are additional.
2011 Weddings: Rhiannon + Keith
Last year I was ill and directed all of my energy into shooting and delivering weddings. Coming back I realized I hadn’t blogged a wedding since May, so here’s to catching up!
Rhiannon and Keith were married at Stonebird Winery in Madera. They were a DIY couple and just about every family member contributed something. Her mom made the cake, other relatives brought desserts, she made the jewelry, his grandma made the dress, and her brother preformed the ceremony. It was all truly beautiful and an amazing reflection of how they live their lives.

Super Bowl!
Ok, so I am not a sports fan and I’m not excited about the Super Bowl. I am excited about eating and watching commercials. What interests me most about SUper Bowl Sunday is that every year my website and blog statistics spike on that day. Which makes me think that a lot of you are planning your weddings while the guys cheer, groan, and grieve. I know that doesn’t apply to all of you, some of the ladies out there LOVE football, but I am guessing if you are reading this post on Sunday that means you are pinning and not watching the game. Wedding season countdown
2011 is coming to a close, and as Christmas comes, then New Year, so does the season for planning your wedding. A new year means a new price list, which means you have until January 1 to book at the 2011 rates. If you have already met with me and decided to book you can go to client access and approve your package choice, sign your contract, and make your retainer payment. That retainer is the only way to secure your date.
The Premier Bride Showplace is January 8.

Expectations!
I am now 38 weeks pregnant and I think this may have been the longest year ever. I am wrapping up the last few jobs and getting ready to take leave (sort of). I still have to fit in meetings and a bridal show, and will end up processing a few orders, but I won’t be taking any sessions until February, or shooting any weddings until March. Then the idea is to dive back into life. I can’t wait to introduce you to my little bundle. Until then I can’t promise much in the way of blogging, but I am sure you can live without me for a while.

Happy November! Have a discount!
Why am I so happy it’s November? Well I can now say I am having a baby next month. It’s really exciting, and overwhelming as I wrap up the last weddings of the year and prepare to bring a new person home. I plan on taking time off after baby girl arrives and in order to do that I am cramming November with some good stuff.
